We had and interesting game last night against the Marshall County Tigerettes. (I have know idea what a Tigerette is.) The scouting report I received said that MC wouldn't be able to handle a full court press. So, we pressed for the first part of the first quarter and they killed us. At one point the score was 17-9. Then we went half court and dominated.
They scored 6 points in the second quarter, 6 in the third, and 5 in the fourth. They hit 3 threes in the first period and none for the rest of the game.
What was most surprising was who scored for us. I figured that my leading scorers this year would be one of my two shooters or my big post. They had 8, 5, and 2 points respectively. My point guard led us with 13 points and I had a freshman come off the bench and score 10 in her first game.
